Commentary: dmf was an non-toxic (i.e. dry) college dance club that I did a series of ads for. They wanted me to punch up their visuals while preferably using the somewhat flowery dmf logo. I went whole hog on the former and utterly ignored the latter, and thankfully they liked the end result. While this piece made a hell of a poster, I do now wish I had exaggerated this guy's anguish more with bulging forehead veins and the like.
